POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst, to join our team. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst, will be an integral part of the new accounting and finance team to analyze and monitor the company’s financial data, encompassing revenue, spending, and expenses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Providing insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business processes.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
  • Supporting the evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
  • Skilled in working with cross functional teams to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is preferred.
